Food and Beverage Service Intern

About the role

The Food and Beverage Service Intern will join the on‑site team at The Soaltee Hotels and Resorts in Budhanilkantha, supporting daily operations across restaurants, bars, and banquet areas. This hands‑on internship offers exposure to guest‑facing service, menu knowledge, and hospitality standards in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with guest seating and take orders under supervision.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Maintain clean and well‑presented tables and service areas.
• Support coordination with kitchen staff and handle basic guest inquiries.
• Learn and follow hygiene, safety, and standard operating procedures.
• Contribute to special events and ensure a professional guest experience.

Required profile

• Interest in food and beverage service and hospitality operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a courteous demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage time effectively and follow instructions.
• Basic knowledge of customer service principles and willingness to learn hotel service standards.
• Enrolled in or recently completed a hospitality, tourism, or related program (preferred).
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Commitment to high standards of personal grooming, hygiene, and professional behavior.
• Prior internship or part‑time experience in hospitality or service industries is an advantage but not mandatory.
