Project Manager – Climate Change Adaptation

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the implementation of an Australian‑funded Climate Change Adaptation project in Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces, strengthening climate resilience and economic empowerment for the poorest households and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a consortium of three national NGOs, World Vision and a knowledge partner, overseeing strategic, financial and operational planning.
• Ensure project delivery on time, within budget and according to donor, government and organisational standards.
• Manage reporting, financial oversight, procurement and supply‑chain processes, maintaining compliance with donor requirements.
• Coordinate capacity‑building for partner NGOs, facilitate stakeholder engagement and monitor risk mitigation.
• Oversee MEAL systems, data management and knowledge sharing to inform adaptive management.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑partner development projects in a humanitarian or climate‑change context.
• Strong decision‑making ability, donor‑relationship management and alignment with organisational strategy.
