Education Counselor – Australia & UK

About the role

The Education Counselor – Australia & UK will guide prospective students in Kathmandu on study options, admission requirements, and application processes for institutions in Australia and the United Kingdom.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑on‑one consultations to assess academic and career objectives.
• Recommend suitable programs and institutions in Australia and the UK.
• Assist students with documentation, application submissions, and visa‑related guidance.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.
• Organise and participate in information sessions, seminars and outreach activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet recruitment targets.
• Stay updated on education policies, entry requirements and scholarship opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Australian and UK study pathways and the education consulting sector.
• Proven experience in student and career counseling.
• Excellent spoken and written English; local language proficiency is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Management or a related field (advanced qualifications are a plus).
• Ability to build trust with students and families and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Target‑driven mindset with strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Prior experience in international education consulting or student recruitment is highly desirable.
