Finance & Admin Trainee (One‑year program)

About the role

World Vision International Nepal offers a one‑year Finance and Admin Traineeship for recent graduates. The trainee will support the Admin and Finance Coordinator in financial, procurement, and supply‑chain activities while gaining hands‑on experience in a humanitarian environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records, reconcile accounts, and prepare journal vouchers in SunSystem.
• Review logbooks and fuel records, generate reports to monitor operational efficiency and expenses.
• Assist in risk‑based financial monitoring of partner NGOs to ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Register and verify partner‑NGO issues, validate supporting evidence, and close issues in the system.
• Cross‑check scanned vouchers with system records for accuracy.
• Support monthly financial reporting and documentation filing (hard and soft copy) according to the FFM manual.
• Collect authorized payment documents, perform arithmetic checks, and forward them for payment processing.
• Assist in uploading procurement and sourcing documents to the SCAI system.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.
• Interest in humanitarian work and willingness to support multiple functions within the Urban Program Office.

• Proficiency in using SunSystem for financial entries.
