Front Desk Executive

About the role

The Front Desk Executive will be the first point of contact for guests at our heritage property in Patan. This full‑time, on‑site position combines traditional reception duties with guest experience management and basic digital marketing support.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑in/check‑out, and handle billing with accuracy.
• Respond to guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints to ensure high satisfaction.
• Provide information about local heritage sites, restaurants, and transportation options.
• Coordinate airport transfers and travel arrangements as needed.
• Manage reservations across booking platforms, email, phone and walk‑ins, verifying details and payment methods.
• Maintain accurate guest records, prepare daily arrival/departure reports, and handle cash, POS and online payments.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and lobby presentation.
• Communicate the Newari cultural significance of the property and promote respectful guest behavior.
• Assist with capturing photos and short videos for social media and support content posting on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Ensure compliance with safety, identification verification, confidentiality and heritage preservation guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive guest interactions.
• Interest in heritage and cultural representation.

Required skills

• Experience handling POS systems and online payment platforms.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) for basic content posting.
