About the role

Roadhouse Group is seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests at its Kathmandu locations. This full‑time, on‑site position plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth table turnover.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and confirm reservations.
• Manage waitlists and guide guests to their tables efficiently.
• Answer guest inquiries in person and over the phone, providing accurate information.
• Maintain a clean, organized host station and monitor guest flow throughout service periods.
• Address guest concerns or special requests promptly and courteously.
• Collaborate closely with serving staff and the kitchen to optimise seating and turnover.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Experience handling reservations and waitlists, either manually or with a reservation system.
• Clear, confident verbal communication in English and local languages.
• Professional phone etiquette and the ability to stay calm during busy periods.
• Reliability, punctuality and a polished appearance that reflects Roadhouse’s brand.
• Basic computer literacy for reservation tools and daily reporting.
• Formal hospitality training or related coursework is a plus.
