HR Trainee – Join Our People‑First Team

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Trainee to support our people operations while gaining hands‑on experience across the full HR lifecycle. You will work closely with senior HR professionals, helping to ensure smooth onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in onboarding new hires: prepare offer letters, orientation materials, and facilitate induction sessions.
• Support payroll coordination, leave tracking, and attendance record maintenance using digital HR tools.
• Help organize employee engagement activities, internal communications, and HR policy awareness campaigns.
• Collaborate with HR leads to update employee databases, maintain personnel files, and ensure compliance documentation.
• Conduct basic HR research such as benchmarking compensation trends, analyzing turnover data, and gathering employee feedback.
• Participate in recruitment support: screen resumes, schedule interviews, and maintain candidate pipelines.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, pivot tables).
• Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms).
• Familiarity with recruitment process management and employee onboarding coordination.
• Understanding of HR compliance documentation.
• Preferred: basic knowledge of Nepali labor law, performance appraisal systems, and payroll processing.
