Manufacturing Manager – Kathmandu

About the role

The Manufacturing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This position oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production to meet demand.
• Manage resources, workflows, and coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Monitor process performance and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop the production team.
• Resolve operational issues promptly.
• Report key performance indicators to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing and operations, including at least 3 years in the beverage industry.
• Proven expertise in manufacturing operations and operations management.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams with performance management and coaching.
• Ability to analyze data, use manufacturing metrics, and apply Lean, 5S, Kaizen methodologies.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance best practices.
• Effective communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
