Senior Logistic Officer

About the role

The Senior Logistic Officer will lead the planning and execution of logistics, warehousing, transportation and customer service activities. This role ensures seamless order cycles, optimises costs and maintains high service standards across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse operations, transportation and customer service.
• Direct, optimise and coordinate the full order cycle from order receipt to delivery.
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
• Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
• Arrange warehouse layout, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments.
• Collaborate with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, quality personnel and other stakeholders.
• Compile carrier and route assignments and supervise inventory accounting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
• Proven experience as a senior logistics officer with a record of successful distribution and logistics management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Own vehicle is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard logistics software.
• Knowledge of import logistics and related banking documentation (LC, TT).
