Study Abroad Consultant

About the role

The Study Abroad Consultant will work on‑site in Kathmandu, guiding prospective students through every step of their overseas education journey. This full‑time position involves counseling, application management, and visa support for destinations such as the UK, NZ, Canada, and the US.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth profile assessments to recommend suitable courses, universities, and countries.
• Provide counseling on study‑abroad opportunities, admissions, scholarships, fees, and visa requirements.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end application process, including document verification, SOP drafting assistance, and submission.
• Verify student financial documentation to ensure compliance with immigration standards.
• Maintain continuous communication with students, parents, university representatives, and internal teams.
• Guide students in drafting SOPs, LORs, and essays, ensuring plagiarism checks.
• Conduct mock interview sessions for US/Canada F1 visas and UK CAS assessments.
• Stay updated on changing visa rules, admission criteria, and post‑study work opportunities.
• Meet monthly/quarterly conversion targets for enrolments and visa applications.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of proven experience in overseas education counseling for UK, NZ, Canada, or US markets.
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• High attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and an ethical approach to student guidance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Experience using university application portals.
• Familiarity with VFS/Immigration portals.
