Supply Chain Officer

About the role

The Supply Chain Officer will lead the design, optimisation and execution of our end‑to‑end supply chain in Kathmandu. Reporting to the COO, you will ensure that procurement, inventory, logistics and working‑capital processes support business growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise the supply chain network from import to dealer/customer, aligning with sales forecasts.
• Set inventory norms, monitor SKU performance, manage dead stock and reduce turnover days.
• Manage regional suppliers, negotiate pricing, MOQ, payment terms and monitor delivery, quality and cost.
• Oversee import logistics, clearing, forwarding and inter‑branch distribution, mitigating supply‑chain risks.
• Maintain warehouse accuracy through cycle counting, FIFO/FEFO, damage control and ERP‑driven stock visibility.
• Reduce inventory holding, optimise order quantities and develop contingency plans to protect working capital.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of inventory management and physical stock verification.
• High level of honesty, integrity and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and reporting abilities.
