Video Editor Instructor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Video Editing Instructor to deliver practical, industry‑focused training to aspiring editors. The role involves teaching professional techniques, guiding hands‑on projects, and helping students build strong portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct practical video editing training from beginner to advanced levels.
• Guide students through real‑world video editing projects.
• Teach editing workflows, storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound, and color grading.
• Create assignments, exercises, and learning activities.
• Review student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Support students in developing professional video editing portfolios.
• Stay updated with current tools, techniques, and industry trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional video editing experience.
• Advanced knowledge of DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Understanding of color correction, color grading, and audio editing.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, VFX, and rendering workflows.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly in a classroom setting.
• Previous teaching or training experience is preferred.
• Professional video editing portfolio is mandatory.
