Electrical Engineer – On‑site Role in Kathmandu

About the role

This full-time, on-site position in Kathmandu involves designing and developing electrical systems for manufacturing projects. The Electrical Engineer will ensure all designs meet relevant standards, safety regulations, and client requirements while supporting installation and commissioning activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical drawings, specifications and perform power distribution and load calculations.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshoot electrical issues on site.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors and other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in power systems, electrical design and power distribution.
• Experience in site supervision, installation and commissioning is preferred.
• Familiarity with applicable codes, standards and safety regulations.

Required skills

• Power Systems analysis, protection coordination and reliability assessment.
• Electrical design and creation of drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with CAD software tools.
• Basic MS Office skills.
