F&B Service Trainee

About the role

The F&B Service Trainee will join the hospitality team at The Soaltee Resort, supporting daily operations across the hotel’s restaurants, bars and banquet venues. This full‑time, on‑site position offers hands‑on experience in delivering high‑quality guest service while learning the standards and procedures of a leading resort.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus and take food and beverage orders.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
• Assist with table setup, clearing and maintaining cleanliness in all service areas.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to guarantee timely delivery.
• Handle guest requests courteously and resolve minor issues.
• Support the implementation of safety, hygiene and brand service guidelines.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including table settings and menu presentation.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and clear communication skills.
• Attention to detail, especially regarding cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions and adapt to hotel procedures.
• Minimum high school education; hospitality or F&B coursework is a plus.
• Previous internship or practical exposure in hotels, restaurants or cafés is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and peak periods.
