Full-time Video Editor (On-site, Kathmandu)

About the role

eTutorclass is seeking a full‑time Video Editor to join its Kathmandu office. You will transform raw lecture recordings and educational content into engaging, high‑quality videos that support the platform’s learning objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Edit recorded lectures, educational classes, promotional videos, reels, shorts and social‑media clips.
• Create engaging educational videos using cuts, transitions, text, animations, graphics, subtitles and sound effects.
• Collaborate with instructors, content and marketing teams to understand course requirements and visual style.
• Apply color correction, grading and sound enhancements to ensure professional visual and audio quality.
• Incorporate motion graphics and text overlays such as titles, lower thirds and infographics.
• Prepare videos for various digital platforms, optimizing formats and resolutions.
• Maintain organized file management, project archives and meet delivery timelines.
• Contribute creative ideas to improve visual storytelling and support promotional content production.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in media, film, design or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant experience in educational or digital content production.
• Domain knowledge of Nepal’s competitive examinations (Loksewa, TSC, CEE, medical entrance, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills for close collaboration with faculty and marketing teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
• Video editing expertise including timeline management, sequencing, transitions and effects.
• Color correction and color grading.
• Basic motion graphics and graphic design for titles, lower thirds and infographics.
• Understanding of basic camera workflows and shooting support.
