Head of Ecommerce Marketing

About the role

The Marketing Head (Ecommerce) is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kathmandu. The role leads the overall ecommerce marketing strategy, planning campaigns, defining brand positioning and driving online sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee market research and analysis to understand customer behavior, competition and trends.
• Coordinate with sales and product teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
• Manage digital marketing initiatives aimed at increasing customer acquisition and retention.
• Handle public relations activities related to ecommerce, building brand visibility.
• Monitor performance metrics and optimize marketing budgets for maximum ROI.
• Guide and mentor the marketing team to achieve defined business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven ability to develop and execute market planning and marketing management strategies for ecommerce channels.
• Strong market research skills with the capacity to translate insights into actionable plans.
• Experience in sales management, driving online revenue and conversion through integrated campaigns.
• Competence in public relations to support brand reputation in digital and traditional media.
• Track record of leading marketing teams and cross‑functional collaboration in an ecommerce or retail environment.
• Proficiency with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms and performance measurement for ecommerce initiatives.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field; relevant ecommerce experience preferred.
