Senior Project Manager – Post‑Production & Video Editing

About the role

Nuventure Nepal is seeking a senior‑level Project Manager with strong hands‑on video editing expertise to lead its post‑production team. The role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of video projects, mentoring editors, and acting as the primary liaison for international clients during night‑shift hours.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end post‑production process from intake to final delivery.
• Assign tasks, manage deadlines, and track progress for a team of video editors.
• Run daily briefings, monitor real‑time progress, and resolve production blockers.
• Maintain project timelines, revision trackers, and delivery schedules.
• Provide creative direction on pacing, structure, and storytelling.
• Perform final quality assurance, correcting typos, caption errors, and inconsistencies.
• Set and enforce quality standards and give constructive feedback to editors.
• Continuously improve workflows, file management, and QA processes.

Required profile

• 2‑3+ years of experience in project management or client‑facing leadership.
• 5‑6 years of hands‑on video editing experience at a senior level.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a video editing team under deadline pressure.
• Responsible, accountable, and ownership‑driven mindset.
• Kind, honest, and fair communication style with both team and clients.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong proofreading skills.
• Sharp attention to detail and strong QA instincts.
• Demonstrated client communication skills and relationship‑building track record.
