Social Media Trainee – On‑site Role in Kathmandu

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Social Media Trainee to join our marketing team in Kathmandu. The role will support the planning and execution of social media activities across key platforms, working closely with design and marketing colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and curating social media content, including copy and visuals.
• Schedule and publish posts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and maintain community interaction.
• Track basic performance metrics and prepare simple reports.
• Contribute ideas for campaigns and stay updated on social media trends.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure consistent branding.

Required profile

• Interest in social media marketing and audience engagement.
• Basic understanding of brand awareness concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.
• Relevant coursework or internship experience in marketing, communications, or related fields is preferred.

Required skills

• Basic copywriting and visual content coordination.
• Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn.
• Basic knowledge of Canva or similar graphic design tools.
• Experience with social media scheduling platforms.
