Warranty Officer – After Sales Service

About the role

The Warranty Officer will manage the end‑to‑end vehicle warranty claim process for a 4‑wheel after‑sales service department. You will ensure claims are submitted, verified, approved and reimbursed in line with OEM policies while supporting high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Process and submit warranty claims to OEMs within required timelines.
• Verify claim eligibility using manufacturer guidelines, vehicle history and service records.
• Review repair orders, job cards, technician reports and supporting documents before submission.
• Monitor claim status, follow up for approvals and reimbursements.
• Coordinate with dealerships, service advisors and technical teams to resolve warranty issues.
• Maintain accurate warranty records, documentation and claim history.
• Conduct warranty audits and ensure compliance with OEM policies.
• Identify rejected claims, analyse root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic performance, claim summary and reimbursement tracking reports.
• Provide training to service teams on warranty procedures and documentation standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in automotive warranty administration, after‑sales service or technical support.
• Familiarity with passenger‑vehicle warranty systems and OEM processes; EV warranty knowledge is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with ERP/DMS systems.
• Use of warranty management software.
