Driver – Transportation & Logistics Support

About the role

The Driver will operate Ipas Nepal’s vehicle, ensuring safe and reliable transport for staff, visitors and goods. The role also includes routine vehicle upkeep, administrative support, and coordination with security and traffic control.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe driving services for Ipas staff and visitors, using the shortest and most efficient routes.
• Maintain internal and external cleanliness of vehicles and motorbikes daily.
• Conduct daily vehicle condition checks (brakes, lights, tire pressure, oil, fuel level, etc.) and record findings in the logbook.
• Ensure adequate fuel availability and monitor fuel consumption and mileage.
• Coordinate with security and traffic control before trips and follow all traffic rules and organizational norms.
• Handle accident procedures, notify supervisors, and provide assistance as needed.
• Oversee routine servicing, parts replacement, and timely renewal of vehicle documents (blue books, pollution checks).
• Provide administrative support such as photocopying, scanning, toner replacement, and logistical assistance for workshops and meetings.
• Deliver and collect official documents, parcels, and other materials for partner organizations and donors.

Required profile

• Ability to follow traffic regulations and Ipas values consistently.
• Reliability in coordinating with security, traffic control, and office staff.
• Attention to detail for vehicle inspections and record‑keeping.

• Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance awareness.
• Accurate logbook and fuel‑consumption record keeping.
