Storekeeper

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and organized Storekeeper to oversee daily store and inventory operations. The successful candidate will manage receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of materials while keeping accurate stock records and ensuring a tidy, safe warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock.
• Organize and store materials systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
• Issue materials and products against authorized requests.
• Monitor stock levels and alert management to shortages or replenishment needs.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain stock registers, invoices, delivery notes, and other inventory documents.
• Check goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report them.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of products.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Accounts, and Logistics departments.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store/warehouse.
• Prepare regular inventory and stock movement reports.
• Support loading, unloading, dispatch, and other warehouse activities as required.

Required profile

• +2 or Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
• Good knowledge of stock management and inventory control.
• Physically fit and able to handle goods/materials when required.
