Storekeeper – Warehouse & Inventory Management

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and detail‑oriented Storekeeper to oversee daily store and warehouse operations for a paints manufacturing company. The role involves receiving, storing, issuing, and accurately recording raw materials, packaging supplies, finished goods, and other inventory items while ensuring safety and proper stock control.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activities of the store and warehouse, including receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials.
• Issue materials to production based on approved requisitions and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts, reconcile with system records, and report shortages, excesses, or damaged items.
• Maintain accurate records of raw materials, chemicals, pigments, solvents, and additives, following FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and coordinate with procurement and quality control.
• Prepare materials and finished goods for dispatch, ensuring proper documentation.
• Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and compliant with safety guidelines for hazardous substances.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Understanding of safety regulations for chemical storage.

• ERP systems for inventory tracking.
