Academic and Operations Lead

About the role

The Academic and Operations Lead will drive the launch and management of a new Master's program while overseeing core operational functions for a non‑profit organization. This senior position combines academic leadership with strategic and HR responsibilities, ensuring smooth coordination across departments and partner institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, launch, and ongoing management of the newly introduced Master’s program in partnership with a reputed university.
• Provide strategic oversight of functional activities together with the Admin Head.
• Supervise HR processes, including recruitment, performance evaluation, and training coordination.
• Prepare high‑level project reports, donor communications, and grant proposals using AI‑assisted tools.
• Manage internal and external communications, ensuring alignment among departments and partner organizations.
• Support project documentation, donor communication, and reporting in collaboration with the Executive Director.
• Design and deliver capacity‑building training programs for a large team.
• Oversee PR, social media, and media outreach for awareness campaigns and events.
• Assist with event planning, logistics, and reporting for conferences, workshops, and training sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in administration, preferably within non‑profits, NGOs, or educational settings.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Nepali.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
