Academic Head

About the role

The Academic Head will lead the academic strategy and operations of an education organization based in Kathmandu. This senior position requires overseeing curriculum development, faculty performance, and student outcomes to ensure high‑quality educational delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the institution’s academic vision, policies, and standards.
• Lead curriculum design, review, and continuous improvement across programs.
• Manage recruitment, development, and evaluation of teaching staff.
• Oversee accreditation processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with administrative leaders to align academic initiatives with overall organizational goals.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 7–10+ years of experience in senior academic leadership roles such as Head of Academics, Academic Director, Academic Manager, or Program Head.
• Proven track record of strategic planning and successful implementation in an educational setting.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development, accreditation, and quality assurance.
