Account Associate

About the role

We are looking for an Account Associate to support our Finance team with day‑to‑day accounting and banking activities. You will work closely with directors, vendors, banks and government offices to ensure accurate financial processing and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase vouchers, journal vouchers and cheques with proper supporting documents.
• Execute routine banking transactions such as cheque deposits, cash withdrawals, fund transfers and collection of bank documents.
• Obtain balance confirmations from vendors, customers and banks.
• Visit tax offices, CIT, SSF and other government agencies for regulatory compliance and document submission.
• Maintain an organized filing system for physical and digital financial records.
• Support internal audits, reconciliations and other finance‑related requests.
• Coordinate with the Director or relevant personnel to secure required signatures and documents.

Required profile

• Ongoing or completed Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience in a finance or administrative role is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for interactions with directors, government officials and stakeholders.
• Strong ethics and ability to handle confidential data responsibly.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Experience with Google Workspace.
