Accountant – Finance & Accounting

About the role

We are looking for an analytical and detail‑oriented Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. You will manage daily accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and support compliance with standard accounting practices.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording and categorisation of all transactions.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice generation, payment processing, and vendor management.
• Perform monthly bank, credit‑card, and account reconciliations to quickly identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close, preparing journal entries, accruals, and pre‑payments.
• Prepare regular financial statements such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash‑flow reports for management review.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and ensuring adherence to accounting principles.
• Compile financial data to aid timely corporate tax filing and regulatory reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a strong plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross‑department collaboration.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Hands‑on experience with major accounting software or ERP systems.
