Accountant – Production Department

About the role

RashovaDiamonds is seeking a full‑time Accountant for its production department in Kathmandu. You will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, and supporting the company’s manufacturing and retail activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily transactions, maintain general ledgers, and prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements and inventory‑related accounts.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including journal entries and variance analysis.
• Prepare and review tax filings, ensure compliance with Nepalese tax regulations, and support audit activities.
• Collaborate with operations and management to provide financial insights for budgeting, cost analysis, and business decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certification (CA, ACCA) is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role, preferably in manufacturing, jewelry, or retail environments.
• Strong attention to detail, high accuracy, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external partners.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
