Architect

About the role

Times Group is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Architect to join its Pokhara office. You will be responsible for designing residential and commercial projects, producing detailed 2D/3D drawings, and ensuring that all designs comply with local regulations and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Design residential and commercial buildings and create detailed 2D/3D plans.
• Prepare construction drawings and coordinate with clients to capture requirements and constraints.
• Collaborate with engineers, construction teams, and survey specialists throughout project phases.
• Oversee site supervision to verify that construction follows approved designs.
• Ensure designs meet structural, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Assist with documentation for house map approvals and support property valuation inputs.
• Manage project timelines, maintain quality standards, and communicate progress to internal teams and clients.

Required profile

• Strong background in architecture and architectural design, capable of delivering functional, safe, and aesthetically balanced plans.
• Experience in project management, including planning, stakeholder coordination, and progress monitoring.
• Understanding of software development and integration as they relate to design tools and workflow optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; professional certifications and prior field experience are preferred.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval processes in Pokhara and Nepal.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and detail‑oriented abilities, with capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with SketchUp.
• Proficiency with Revit or equivalent BIM platforms.
