Associate Manager, Software QA

About the role

The Associate Manager, Software QA will lead a team of Data Quality Assurance Engineers, ensuring that data solutions meet both organisational standards and project requirements. This position combines technical oversight with people management to deliver high‑quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and determine Data QA resource needs.
• Develop, review, and approve test plans and testing strategies.
• Assign, monitor, and evaluate the work of Data QA Engineers to ensure timely execution.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Development, and IT teams to support successful project delivery.
• Ensure products and deliverables meet established quality standards and business requirements.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor Data QA team members.
• Manage user access based on the principle of least privilege and revoke access when employees leave.
• Monitor team capacity, utilization, and resource allocation.
• Evaluate team performance and provide feedback and development opportunities.
• Promote and enforce QA best practices, standards, and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and governance requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Data Quality Assurance, Data Testing, or a related field.
