Business Development Officer

About the role

Navya Advisors is seeking a Business Development Officer to expand the adoption of its specialised financial software platforms for investment managers, fund administrators and capital‑markets participants. Based in Kathmandu, you will identify high‑value growth opportunities, manage the full sales cycle and align technology solutions with client operational realities.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify and secure new business across investment‑management firms, fund‑administration entities and financial institutions.
• Drive the end‑to‑end sales process, including product demos, proposal creation and contract negotiations.
• Build trusted, long‑term relationships with capital‑markets stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with product and technical teams to translate client needs into successful software implementations.
• Research fintech trends, regulatory changes and competitor landscapes to uncover emerging opportunities.
• Maintain accurate pipeline health, CRM records and revenue milestone projections.

Required profile

• Proven B2B business development or sales experience in fintech, SaaS or financial services.
• Solid understanding of capital markets, investment‑management operations or fund administration.
• Exceptional communication and executive‑level stakeholder engagement skills.
• Analytical ability to grasp complex financial workflows and convey technical value propositions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, IT or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with a strong interest in financial‑technology solutions.
