Clinical Analyst – Medical Coding & Data Management

About the role

The Clinical Analyst will work closely with a US‑based Clinical Lead and collaborate with a team in Nepal to perform medical code analysis, mapping, and data management. The role includes summarising regulatory requirements, producing high‑quality clinical data analyses, and ensuring accurate coding across datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and map medical codes, supporting US clinical operations.
• Summarise regulatory alerts and requirements for the team.
• Curate and organise clinical content, code sets, and related documentation.
• Produce detailed analyses of clinical data and deliver actionable insights.
• Maintain clear communication with both US and Nepal teams.

Required profile

• BN/BSc Nursing degree with solid clinical knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
• Excellent command of English (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
• Strong learning ability, can follow directions and work independently or in a team.
• Basic typing skills and proficiency with standard office software.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Office 365).
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with US healthcare system concepts (billing, reimbursement).
• Understanding of standard code sets: ICD‑10, CPT/HCPCS, LOINC.
