CMS Lead (OTT Content Management)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced CMS Lead to manage and optimise our Content Management System across an OTT streaming network. The role bridges technical engineering, product design and content operations to improve discoverability, performance and user engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily configuration, maintenance and architecture of the OTT CMS to ensure seamless content delivery.
• Manage end‑to‑end video asset workflows, including metadata ingestion, taxonomy localisation, asset tagging, dynamic artwork and regional rights.
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing to implement algorithmic and curated carousels, personalised recommendations and promotional campaigns.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Content Acquisition and QA to define operational requirements, streamline ingestion pipelines and resolve feed issues.
• Evaluate and improve system integrations such as video players, recommendation engines, analytics tools and automated ingestion APIs.
• Ensure all published assets meet quality benchmarks, legal rights windows and parental rating guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years experience in content operations, CMS architecture or digital asset management within OTT, SVOD/AVOD or digital media.
• Strong knowledge of video streaming supply chains, video formats, metadata standards and transcode/publishing workflows.
• Understanding of backend CMS payload structures across iOS, Android, Web, Smart TVs and streaming devices (Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV).
• Ability to use performance analytics to optimise taxonomy, user journeys and watch‑time metrics.
• Proven leadership in managing complex technical projects and tight publishing deadlines.
