Digital Content Writer

About the role

SoftUp’s Nepal office is looking for a creative Digital Content Writer to produce compelling copy for print, digital, and social media channels. You will work closely with senior leadership and the marketing team to shape the company’s voice and support growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Brainstorm and develop fresh content ideas and strategies with the content team.
• Research markets and industries to create original, innovative material.
• Write and edit website copy, blogs, articles, video scripts, and social media posts.
• Craft eye‑catching headlines and SEO‑optimized copy.
• Collaborate with designers, creative leads, and clients to align content with objectives.
• Conduct interviews to gather insights and ensure factual accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Mass Communication, IT or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3+ years of professional writing experience, especially on digital platforms.
• Familiarity with astrology, Hindu culture, and traditional terminology.
• Strong English grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.

Required skills

• SEO and keyword placement expertise.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Confluence (a plus).
