Finance Manager – Remote, $100k/year

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead our global finance operations remotely. You will oversee a team of Senior Accountants, stay close to the day‑to‑day work, and use AI‑driven automation to improve accuracy and efficiency while maintaining hands‑on expertise when critical issues arise.

Key responsibilities

• Keep finance operations moving by prioritising work across senior accountants based on deadlines, business impact, dependencies and financial risk.
• Inspect finance dashboards, invoices, payments, bank transactions, reconciliations, control accounts, revenue and spend allocations for accuracy and timeliness.
• Diagnose quality failures using accounting expertise and determine root causes such as data errors, system configuration, accounting treatment or process execution.
• Write evidence‑based coaching to explain errors, corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Identify and implement AI, large language models and automation opportunities to eliminate manual work and boost speed and accuracy.

Required profile

• A degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A recognised professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience on at least five audits involving a Big 4 accounting firm.
