Full-Time Faculty – Business Statistics

About the role

Apex College seeks a full‑time faculty member to teach Business Statistics on its Kathmandu campus. The successful candidate will design and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses, ensuring content is current, rigorous, and aligned with program objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Business Statistics.
• Prepare course plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessment activities.
• Explain statistical concepts and their practical applications in business and management contexts.
• Guide students in statistical analysis, data interpretation, and problem‑solving.
• Conduct examinations, evaluate assignments, and assess student performance.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
• Participate in research, scholarly activities, trainings, and workshops.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Business Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Strong knowledge of statistical concepts and their business applications.
• Preferably prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
• Excellent communication, presentation, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to quality teaching, student learning, and academic professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency with statistical tools such as SPSS, Excel, and R.
