Junior Accountant – Invoicing & Billing Support

About the role

The Junior Accountant will support the day‑to‑day accounting operations of the organization, focusing on invoicing, payment verification, billing, petty‑cash management and inventory entries. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented individual with strong numerical skills and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify payments and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage billing activities and maintain customer billing records.
• Record and reconcile petty‑cash transactions.
• Enter and maintain inventory records in the accounting system.
• Assist in maintaining books of accounts and financial documentation.
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Support month‑end and year‑end accounting activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field (currently pursuing or completed).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, billing, invoicing or related finance functions.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Experience with invoicing, billing, and payment verification processes.
