Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliable operation of electrical equipment and plant systems at our automotive assembly facility in Ramgarm, Parasi. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, improving energy efficiency, and supporting new equipment installations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure reliable operation of electrical equipment, control panels, machinery, and plant electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, equipment failures, and breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor plant power consumption and identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and integration of new electrical equipment and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, breakdowns, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, standards, and regulations.
• Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, and service providers for electrical projects.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and energy efficiency.
• Manage availability of critical electrical spare parts, tools, and equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in plant maintenance, manufacturing operations, or industrial engineering.
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems, utilities management, and project execution.
• Familiarity with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or other continuous‑improvement methodologies is preferred.
