Sewing Production Manager

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on, people‑centered leader to oversee our sewing manufacturing operations in Godawari, Lalitpur. The role combines technical knowledge of garment production with cross‑departmental collaboration to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the sewing production calendar and coordinate with Sales, Project Development and Sourcing to avoid delays.
• Lead pre‑production meetings, understand design requirements and translate them into efficient manufacturing plans.
• Supervise sewing, sampling, cutting, embroidery and printing teams, ensuring productivity, minimal waste and quality standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve operational or personnel issues, maintaining a safe and well‑trained work environment.
• Coach team leaders, run weekly leader meetings and drive quarterly departmental milestones.
• Report accurate salary, piece‑rate and overtime data to accounting each month.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in garment or sewing production, with at least 2‑3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills, able to mentor and hold teams accountable.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate production needs effectively.
