About the role

Abacus Insights is seeking a hands‑on Manager to lead its Client Data Engineering team. This leader will bridge client delivery, technical execution, and people management, ensuring high‑quality implementations of complex healthcare data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end client implementations, delivering on schedule and quality expectations.
• Provide technical direction for ETL, data‑mapping, and integration workflows.
• Improve CMS Interoperability processes and related implementation practices.
• Coordinate globally distributed (on‑shore and offshore) engineering teams.
• Mentor engineers, foster a collaborative performance‑driven culture.
• Support delivery management, resource planning, and prioritization with product teams.
• Define, monitor, and act on performance metrics for continuous improvement.
• Promote adoption of innovative tools and technologies.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing data‑engineering teams, preferably in a global setting.
• Hands‑on technical background with deep understanding of healthcare data pipelines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to balance client expectations with operational rigor.
