Pharmacist – Regulatory Affairs (Veterinary)

About the role

Kantipur Vet Distributors is seeking a full‑time Pharmacist specialized in Regulatory Affairs to join its Kathmandu team. The role focuses on ensuring that all veterinary pharmaceutical products comply with national and international regulations, supporting safe and effective distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and maintain regulatory dossiers for veterinary medicines.
• Monitor changes in laws, guidelines, and standards affecting veterinary pharmaceuticals.
• Interpret regulations and advise internal teams on compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities for product approvals, renewals, and inspections.
• Support quality‑assurance processes and provide regulatory guidance to stakeholders.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and ensure timely communication with external partners.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in pharmacy with knowledge of veterinary pharmaceuticals and pharmacology.
• Proven experience in regulatory affairs and handling regulatory documentation.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and requirements for veterinary medicines.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with agencies, internal teams, and partners.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pharmacy or a related pharmaceutical field.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to interpret guidelines.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kathmandu and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
• Experience in veterinary distribution or pharmaceutical regulatory affairs is an advantage.
