Professional Beautician & Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a Professional Beautician & Trainer to deliver both practical and theoretical training in professional beauty and salon services at Opal Global Skills Academy in Kathmandu.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theoretical training in professional beauty and salon services.
• Train students in skincare, facial, makeup, hair care, manicure, pedicure, waxing, threading and other treatments.
• Demonstrate professional techniques and ensure students develop proper practical skills.
• Prepare lesson plans, demonstrations, practical sessions and training materials.
• Maintain a professional, hygienic and safe training environment.
• Assess students' practical performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest beauty techniques, products, equipment and international industry trends.
• Guide students on salon practices, customer service, grooming and workplace standards.
• Support students in developing the skills and confidence required for employment in the beauty industry.
• Maintain training records, attendance, assessments and other required documentation.
• Perform other training‑related responsibilities assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience in the beauty and salon industry.
• Preference for candidates with international work experience or relevant international qualifications.
• Strong practical knowledge of beauty treatments, salon services and current industry trends.
• Previous experience as a trainer or instructor is an advantage.
