Professional Medical Representative

About the role

The Professional Medical Representative will work on‑site in Kathmandu, promoting pharmaceutical products and medical solutions to healthcare professionals. This full‑time position involves building relationships with doctors, pharmacists and medical institutions to support prescription generation and product adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular visits to assigned territories and present product information to healthcare providers.
• Answer medical and product‑related inquiries and provide accurate information.
• Gather market and competitive intelligence, reporting on competitor activities and trends.
• Maintain detailed records of visits, sales activities and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with internal teams to plan promotional activities and achieve sales targets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong background in pharmacy or medicine with ability to understand product information and medical terminology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with healthcare professionals.
• Customer‑service orientation focused on building long‑term, trust‑based relationships.
• Relevant academic qualification and prior experience as a medical or pharmaceutical representative (advantageous).
• Strong organizational skills for territory management, reporting and time management.
• Willingness to travel within Kathmandu and nearby areas.
