Recruitment Trainee – Entry Level Recruitment Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Recruitment Trainee to join our talent acquisition team. You will support the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews and maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates via job portals, LinkedIn, social media, referrals and other channels.
• Review and shortlist CVs according to job specifications.
• Contact candidates by phone, email or messaging to discuss opportunities.
• Conduct initial screening and assess suitability, availability and expectations.
• Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date candidate records in the CRM/ATS.
• Follow up with candidates throughout recruitment and onboarding.
• Collect and verify documentation, support pre‑employment checks and obtain references.
• Provide regular pipeline updates and meet recruitment targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in recruitment, HR or talent acquisition is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and work under pressure.
