Senior Accountant – Construction Sector

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with a strong background in construction finance to manage day‑to‑day accounting activities and support project budgeting. The role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance across multiple construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain project‑wise accounts, costs, and budgets.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and cash‑flow analyses.
• Monitor project expenses, payments, receivables, and payables.
• Perform bank reconciliations, handle taxation, VAT/TDS, and ensure statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, contractors, and internal management.
• Supervise accounting staff to guarantee timely and accurate reporting.
• Oversee project costing and cost control activities.
• Maintain records for audits and regulatory filings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of project costing, taxation, VAT/TDS, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Analytical mindset with leadership and communication abilities.
• Personal vehicle for site visits.
