Senior Accountant – Part‑time (4.5 hrs/day)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team on a part‑time basis. The role involves comprehensive financial reporting, tax compliance and day‑to‑day accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and finalise monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow) in accordance with Nepal Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS).
• Perform bank, vendor and customer reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Manage VAT and TDS filings through the Inland Revenue Department portal and ensure timely income‑tax payments and annual returns.
• Handle company secretarial duties such as OCR renewals and statutory document filings.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, process payroll and maintain the fixed‑asset register with depreciation calculations.
• Verify, reconcile and rectify vendor payable transactions, perform vendor statement reconciliations and process payments within approved terms.
• Conduct additional account reconciliations including inventory control.

Required profile

• 4.5 hours per day, five days a week (preferably 9 am‑6 pm).
• Completed MBS or ICAN qualification.
• Minimum six years of total accounting experience, including at least three years as a Senior Accountant.
• Experience in the hospitality sector is a plus.
