Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will support day‑to‑day financial and accounting operations for a manufacturing/FMCG company in Simara, Nepal. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily finance and accounting activities, including vouchers, invoices and bills.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses and daily financial transactions.
• Assist with bank and other account reconciliations.
• Prepare regular financial and management reports.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Maintain the general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
• Coordinate with internal departments for financial requirements and audit preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–3 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing/FMCG.
• Detail‑oriented with strong numerical accuracy.
• Ability to meet reporting deadlines and work collaboratively with other teams.
