Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer will lead testing activities for healthcare technology solutions, ensuring high‑quality releases in an Agile environment. This position focuses on risk assessment, documentation, and continuous improvement of testing practices.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business and functional requirements to create comprehensive test cases.
• Define and maintain master test plans that outline the overall testing strategy.
• Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases, scripts and scenarios.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Conduct performance testing with JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Identify, document, track and manage defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
• Execute test scripts, record validation results and maintain QA artifacts (test plans, execution reports).
• Analyse test outcomes, report quality metrics and highlight risks.
• Conduct risk assessments during test cycles and document lessons learned.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with developers, product managers and stakeholders.
• Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies and testing practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to analyse requirements, identify gaps and create effective test plans.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality software.

Required skills
