Senior Tax Accountant – UK Tax

About the role

AGK Nepal, part of Xeinadin, is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join its UK Tax team in Kathmandu. The role offers the chance to work on UK tax compliance for personal, partnership and corporate clients while collaborating with UK‑based colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review UK Personal Tax (SA100) returns.
• Prepare and review Partnership Tax (SA800) returns.
• Prepare and review Corporation Tax (CT600) filings.
• Oversee VAT, P11D and ATED compliance.
• Support UK tax advisory and technical research.
• Identify tax risks and planning opportunities.
• Handle complex and non‑routine UK tax matters.
• Assist with HMRC enquiries and correspondence.
• Supervise, review and develop junior tax team members.
• Manage workflow, deadlines and quality across client work.

Required profile

• ACCA qualified or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong UK tax compliance experience.
• Good technical knowledge of Personal, Partnership and Corporation Tax.
• Practical experience with VAT, P11D and/or ATED.
• Strong Excel and tax‑computation skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience reviewing and mentoring junior staff.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proactive approach to staying updated on UK tax legislation and HMRC developments.
