Finance Specialist

About the role

This position places you at the core of finance operations, supporting business decision‑making and ensuring strong financial governance. You will manage daily finance activities, enable accurate reporting, and partner with internal teams to keep business operations smooth and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in line with NFRS and IFRS standards.
• Manage general ledger, month‑end closing, invoice processing, journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Support supplier onboarding, treasury and cash‑flow activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver financial reports, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Identify process‑improvement and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with local tax regulations (VAT, TDS, corporate tax).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional certification (Semi‑CA / ACCA) is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting or audit roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, local GAAP and regulatory compliance.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking and proactive problem‑solving.

Required skills

• SAP (or other ERP) proficiency.
• Knowledge of IFRS and related financial reporting standards.
