Finance Manager (Commercial Finance & FP&A)

About the role

EB Pearls, a global software development and design company, is looking for a Finance Manager (Commercial Finance & FP&A) in Kathmandu. Working closely with the Assistant Director of Finance, the Executive Director and senior leadership, you will run dependable financial operations and build forward-looking commercial insight. You will own the monthly close and controls, forecasting and cash management, and the economics of projects and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a rolling 12-month integrated forecast (revenue, delivery capacity, costs, balance sheet, cash flow) and lead quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting
• Analyse revenue, gross margins, EBITDA and other indicators, and monitor budget versus actuals
• Lead the Finance & Accounting team, overseeing reconciliations, invoicing, payables and receivables, and managing cash flow and collections
• Prepare financial statements, management reports and tax filings (TDS, CIT) and ensure compliance with accounting, taxation and statutory requirements in Nepal
• Analyse project and client profitability, review Estimate to Complete monthly, and evaluate pricing, contracts and investment proposals
• Build financial KPI dashboards and management reports, and report to the Board and investors
• Document processes, cross-train staff, and oversee billing, payroll, reconciliations and procurement oversight

Required profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field, or CA, ACCA or equivalent
• At least seven years of finance experience, including accounting management and substantial FP&A or commercial finance
• Experience in a project-based services business, preferably software development
• Experience supervising and developing accountants
• Clear English and Nepali, with strong communication with non-finance leaders

Required skills

• Multi-entity reporting and multiple currencies
• Strong Excel and financial modelling, including project profitability and cash forecasting
• Statutory compliance knowledge (TDS, SSF, VAT, income tax, BAS)
